Yes, there is actually a good reason.
The ‘Standalone’ ones are quite faster performance wise than the ‘Multiplatform’ ones, but they don’t work in platforms like iOS, xBox or WebGL.
I’ve included both so that if you are targeting a standalone platform, you can get the advantage of performance boost, instead of disalowing it completely.
I could differentiate them with platform directives, but the Multiplatform ones came after the Standalone ones and had to keep both in there to support projects build with previous versions.
I will try to slowing merge the 2 over time if possible though.
