Hello!

The serialization bug was introduced in 2.9.1 (and fixed in 2.9.2). As such, the lite version, does not have this serialization bug.

I do plan to keep updating the lite versio, yes, but it will always be a bit behind in comparison to the full version. The lite version will eventually be updated to 2.9.2. I will probably do that within this week. 🙂
