Hi! I’m trying to upgrade a project from an old version of Unity to 2021.3.16. I’ve updated NodeCanvas to the latest (3.2.6) and now if I try to edit a graph the graph editor window won’t open. I’m not seeing any errors or log messages but the window doesn’t show. I also tried creating a new project with the same unity versions and I’m having the same problem with the graph editor window not opening.
I did notice when I imported the Node Canvas package I got some unity warnings about old APIs which it auto-updated for me. These seemed to be mainly PrefabStage usages in GraphEditor.cs which moved from an Experimental namespace into a regular one. There might have been some others I didn’t check them all.
Is this Unity version unsupported? Or is there maybe something else I’m doing wrong here? Thanks!
I was having this same exact issue … THANK YOU! You solved my problem. I’m using a laptop with a 2nd screen as my primary screen is broken. I went into Windows Display Settings and changed it from Extended Screen to just showing screen 2 (my 2nd screen) then restarted the Unity Project and the Canvas opened!!!
