I’m having issues with response time in the graph editor. Interaction with the editor is incredibly slow and hampering workflow. For example, it takes up to 5 seconds to register as “selected”. Same with deselecting, scrolling, zooming, etc. If I type in comments, it slowly streams in the letters I typed at roughly 1 character per second!
I’m new to BT’s… but the graph I have now doesn’t seem to be overly complex. Unity is performing just fine so I’m not sure what’s causing this, but it’s becoming a blocker for our project.
Not sure if this helps, but we’re behind a protective air gap firewall which, as a side effect, hampers internet performance. So if Node Canvas is phoning home while in use, this might hurt. I’m also using Unity 5.6.1p2 “offline”.

This seems very weird and never been reported before. There can be cases of small latency if the graph has hundreds of visible nodes, but even in such a case selecting a node as per your example should be instant.
Are there any logs shown in the console by any chance when this happens?
Does it happens only to a specific graph, or it does even on a completely new one?

( By the way, NodeCanvas is not “phoning home” 🙂 It is a totally offline software and does not touch network at all )
