I just upgraded our project from 1.6 to 2.1. It only took a few days. Code converted easily, rebuilding BTs and FSMs was a bit of work, but the editor is great – making quick work of it. I had a second machine with the old trees as reference.
I love being able to import/export the trees, and straightforward binding of trees to instances. I’ll looking forward to doing some in-depth profiling – I saw the huge drop in GameObject usage which should help greatly.
