With the macbook trackpad, the editor only zooms when you pan with 2 fingers. There doesn’t seem to be a way to pan the view, unless I am missing something. This plugin can’t really be used without panning.
I am not sure if I can catch the Mac trackpad, but I have added an option now to pan with the ALT key pressed and the mouse.
Let me know if you want to send this “fix” to you.
Thanks for looking into it. I had looked into the GraphEditor code and did a similar thing (I just wanted to start using the plugin, and didn’t have a mouse nearby at the time) but I set it to pan by default and zoom with alt. Panning also felt very slow to me compared to other scrollable views, for example the Mecanim animator view. I multiplied the delta by 8 to get a speed that seemed more consistent with other views. I also inverted the scroll direction, so that it pans like in MacOSX “natural” setting (that other views seem to match, like Mecanim and uFrame).
If you do want to test something in my machine, feel free to send it.
Thanks for the update, and I appreciate that now panning is super smooth.
Sadly, the two-finger zoom gesture still feels out of place in a mac, where panning the view underneath the cursor is the norm for this gesture. I just keep zooming accidentally when I come from other views that normally scroll or pan with this gesture.
I can continue applying my small tweaks on new updates, so this is not a big issue for me at least.
